LaMelo Ball continues to be a ticket office draw for the Charlotte Hornets, averaging roughly 20 points per game in the 2021-22 NBA season.
And, like his play, the 20-year-PUMA old's MB.01 signature sneaker has helped him gain notoriety. Ball's first original design with the German sportswear outfitter is slated to debut in a two-tone grey and red color combination by mid-February, as promised by PUMA Hoops' social media team in a Rick And Morty-collaborative colorway. The upper is mostly greyscale, while branding and other design cues influenced by the youngest Ball sibling stray in bright, seemingly-orange flair.
Underfoot, a semi-translucent rubber compound keeps Nitro Foam cushioning in place, giving the next edition of LaMelo shoes a "smoky" look; "RARE" text stays visible through the multi-directional tread, which has been acclaimed by die-hard hoopers since its debut on December 16th, 2021.
Here are some product images of Ball's latest signature sneaker, which will be available on PUMA.com on February 18th.
