The Nike Dunk High "Cargo Khaki" Is A Sophisticated Rotation Staple

As Nike continues to promote the Dunk throughout 2021, some sneakerheads complain that the colorways are becoming less interesting, but this is not the case with the recently-released Nike Dunk High “Cargo Khaki.” With these images fresh off the press, it's clear that this release will be well-received by many due to the effortlessly clean looks and classic color blocking that we all know and love.

The Nike Dunk High, designed by Peter Moore and first released in 1984, has remained a cult classic ever since. It made a huge comeback last year and remains popular with many sneakerheads thanks to iconic colorways and premium materials. This new colorway features military-green style panels contrasted with pure white, creating a signature Dunk look that also exudes instant retro vibes.

The uppers are made of premium leather and feature Nike Swoosh logos on both the lateral and medial sides, as well as Nike Air branding on the tongues. Other notable features include a perforated toe box for ventilation and plenty of padding around the ankles and heels, indicating that these were once a high-performance basketball sneaker. All of this is on top of a white midsole and khaki outsole that hides a full-length Nike Air cushioning unit.
