The Nike Dunk High 'Year of the Tiger' has received its official photos. Nike commemorates the Chinese New Year with this sneaker.
According to the Chinese calendar, the new year begins on February 1st. The tiger will be the animal of the year in the coming year. Think of social unrest and natural disasters as the tiger increases the likelihood of a tumultuous year. Nonetheless, the tiger always gets back on its feet, and everything works out in the end.
The upper of the Nike Dunk High with this year's motif is made up of a variety of colors and materials. Suede is used for the toebox and nose, which are light grey in color. On the toe box, there is a gold Swoosh and Chinese characters in Chinese characters.
The upper is completely black. A slightly rougher suede is used on the side and heel. The overlays have a satin finish and are embroidered in black. Golden tiger stripes are stitched around the heel. On the tongue, there are gold embroidery as well.
The white midsole of the shoe is a nice touch. A semi-transparent gum rubber outsole completes the look. Tiger stripes can also be found on the outsole if you peek under the shoe.
The Nike Dunk High 'Year of the Tiger' does not yet have a release date. We can look at photographs of this sneaker until it is released.
