We've already published an article regarding the Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 debate. It's unclear whether the partnership will ever see the light of day, but it doesn't appear that Scott intends to cancel it as we get our first peek at a never-before-seen colorway. Offset received this as a gift, and it appears to be influenced by the Houston Oilers.
This AT1 includes the Texas club's characteristic blue color scheme and is an American football team from Scott's home state. Soft yellow highlights can be seen on the rope laces and the rubber midfoot strap, which is emblazoned with "Cactus Corporation" letters in a vibrant green font. The overall style is enhanced by a perforated leather tongue and a subtle Nike Swoosh outline stitched along the lateral and medial side panels.
Throughout the Air Trainer 1, you may have seen some fastenings. If you're wondering what these are for, you may use the waterproof shroud that comes with them to keep your shoes dry. Finally, a zipped pocket across the back completes the design by allowing you to conceal your secret cache.
Who knows if the Travis Scott x Nike Air Trainer 1 will ever be released, as previously stated. If it does, we expect them to fall in the second half of 2022.
