The Adidas Crazy 97 EQT 'Dunk Contest' Is Back For The Next Year

In 2022, Kobe Bryant's adidas Crazy 97 EQT 'Dunk Contest' returns. Before joining Nike, basketball player Kobe Bryant signed with adidas. Kobe Bryant became the youngest winner of the Slam Dunk Contest in 1997. In 2022, adidas will re-release the 'Dunk Contest' to commemorate the Crazy 97's 25th anniversary.

Kobe Bryant inked a contract with adidas in 1996. He wore the 'EQT Elevation' in numerous games during his rookie season in the NBA. The 'Crazy 97 EQT' was later given to this vehicle. The silhouette is now available in its original colorway. The new pair is purple with white and black accents.

The upper of the 'Dunk Contest' is constructed of mesh and leather. Purple leather overlays are used. The three adidas stripes may be seen on the central panel. These white stripes stretch all the way to the tip of the nose. The wavy and angular midsole has a striking shape. This shape is carried over to the upper, making this a unique pair.

The adidas Equipment logo may be found on the heel. This is gold in color. The sneaker boasts a high fit and elastic bands at the heel for added support. On the tongue and nose, the adidas logo may be spotted.

There is no official release date for the adidas Crazy 97 EQT 'Dunk Contest.' The model, on the other hand, is due in February 2022. The official photos of the sneaker can be found below.
