The Todd Snyder x New Balance 57/40 "Stony Beach" Takes Inspiration From New York Coastline

Todd Snyder and New Balance have collaborated on a slew of designs over the years, and we have no doubt that admirers of their work will be excited to see what they have planned next. The next Todd Snyder x New Balance 57/40 "Stony Beach" will take on a much more muted hue that draws notes from the city's shoreline, after their collection of vivid New Balance 327s that took influence from NYC's farmers market.

Todd Snyder's eponymous company normally relies on silhouettes from New Balance's 99x series, but a rework of the New Balance 57/40 is a fresh new start for the New York-based label.

The NB5740 "Stony Beach" colorway is constructed delicately from Vachetta (a premium form of leather normally used on high-end bags) and white leather frequently used on rich furniture, and is said to be limited to only 750 pairs. To conjure a relaxed coast side ambiance, other varieties of suede in neutral colors are also put to the mix.

The Todd Snyder x New Balance 57/40 "Stony Beach" is completed with the New Balance 57/40's characteristic hefty midsole and conventional branding elements.
