Following the arrival of the "Monarch," "Noise Aqua," and "Rush Maroon" later this month, the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Black" has officially been announced! Many sneakerheads considered them to be a unicorn, and no one thought they existed until Union LA's very own Chris Gibbs accidently let it slip on Instagram!
Gibbs said in the since-deleted IG post, "I've had the pleasure of knowing the entire Patta crew for many moons now... These boys are like brothers from different moms on the opposite side of the water." He went on, "Thank you for allowing me to introduce the Black color scheme! These things are on fire!"
Unlike the previous three iterations of this sneaker, the black component of the colorway is highlighted rather than softly complementing the grey mesh basis. It also has more luxury materials, such as full grain leather overlays and wavy suede mudguards. A clean white Nike Swoosh runs over the sides, with a smaller one on the lateral toe.
There's no indication on when the Patta x Nike Air Max 1 "Black" will be available, but given how things are going right now, we wouldn't be shocked if they arrive in December or January.
