The Nike Air Max 95 "AMRC" Is A Tribute To Beaverton, Oregon

Following up on the inaugural AM95 "Running Club" colorway, Nike has released the Nike Air Max 95 "AMRC" Black Blue as a new version. The couple, dressed in a dark blue suit, pay homage to the early days of the Nike brand by forming a fake running club. Phil Knight and Bill Bowerman, both avid track athletes, developed Nike to fill a void in the market for running shoes.

Running and athletics have been at the center of the brand since then, and several releases have paid respect to the sport throughout the years. The shoes are made of a variety of materials, including hairy suede, canvas, and even synthetics. The silhouette has a wavy look thanks to various hues of blue, with white embroidered mini-Swooshes on the heels.

There's a vintage-style tongue with exposed foam cushioning and classic orange Nike Swoosh emblems. Each sneaker's embroidered tabs read "BVRTN, OR," a nod to Nike's birthplace in Beaverton, Oregon. The shoe is finished off with a white midsole that hides several apparent Nike Air Max units and a black outsole.

If you like the appearance of the Nike Air Max 95 “AMRC” Deep Royal, the good news is that they're due to release on November 18th, so you shouldn't have to wait too long.
