Take A Look At The Air Jordan 5 "Jade Horizon" Up Close

The Air Jordan 5 "Jade Horizon" has been on our radar for over eleven months, and while its release date continues to be postponed after postponement, we're getting up up and personal with the highly awaited sneaker while we wait. While there are a few minor differences from the first mock-up, we have to admit that we like the retail version.

This Air Jordan 5 has a complete leather construction that looks unbelievably luxurious, and it's coloured light green with soft yellow accents on the eyelets and toggle switch for a slight burst of contrast. The thick tongue and sock-liner with an off-white accent.

If you look down below, you'll notice a Nike Air midsole that has been blacked out. The flame-like decorations on the lateral side, which are really inspired by the P-51 fighter plane, are given a speckled pattern. Finally, the design is completed with a similar rubber outsole for a retro vibe that is guaranteed to turn attention wherever you go.

The Nike Air Jordan 5 "Jade Horizon," which was originally set to release as part of Jordan Brand's Holiday 2021 collection, was then pushed back to November 27th, only to be rescheduled for February 2022.
