Two adidas divisions have joined forces to combine their very different styles. The Y-3, lead by Yohji Yamamoto, has given one of Terrex's most robust outdoor sneakers, the Swift R3 GTX, its distinctive dark and dirty character.
The style is a hybrid sneaker-boot with GORE-TEX inside and a Continental rubber outsole created with one goal in mind: outdoor exploration.
The sneaker will be released in two hues — all black and red and white — and will be accompanied by a collection of clothing that includes a parka and jacket (both also outfitted with GORE-TEX weatherproofing technology).
The in-house collaboration is set to release on October 14th.
