We've said it before, and we'll say it again: Virgil Abloh's Off-White x Nike Blazer Low is the wildest shoe he's ever designed. The consequence of thoroughly dissecting the legendary Blazer to the utmost degree is a spacecraft for your feet, and we're getting our most comprehensive look yet!
Off-version White's of the Blazer Low is made of smooth black leather with a sequence of cut-outs scattered throughout, similar to the Off-White x Air Jordan 5 "Black," which leaked at the start of last year. The mudguards are made of fabric, and the dual lacing mechanism is inspired by Virgil Abloh's Dunk partnership.
A Nike Swoosh runs across the lateral and medial sides, and the sneaker wouldn't be complete without noting the crazy midsole. The front of the device has been preserved quite similar to the original, but the rear has a bizarre contraption with a blue and green cushioning system. While we're not sure where this cutting-edge feature came from, it does look a lot like the ACG Terra Humara, replete with the orange speckling.
The Off-White x Nike Blazer Low "Black," which was expected to be at the end of 2021, will now be released in 2022 with the "White."
