While most shoe companies are looking for the newest up-and-coming designers to partner with, adidas has turned to classic franchises from the past for its latest collaboration. The adidas Forum Low x Home Alone is inspired by everyone's favorite holiday film. For obvious reasons, Home Alone, starring Macauley Culkin, will appeal to anybody who grew up in the 1990s.
The video depicts how a young Kevin uses a number of tricks and traps to fend off two thieves (Marv and Harry). The shoes are heavily influenced by the traps in question, and will have a full set of limited-edition insoles and pin badges, making them a collector's dream!
The pair, which are made of fine leather and have a classic red and white colorway, are based on the sneakers worn by Kevin in the film. On the lateral and medial sides, three stripes are visible, while the ankle strap features an outline of Chicago instead of trefoil branding. Other interesting elements include burn scars and tongue tabs that mimic doormats, one of Kevin's numerous traps, which are printed on the sidewall of the pair.
If you're a fan of the Home Alone x adidas Forum Low as much as we are, the good news is that they'll be available in time for Christmas.
