Nike is producing a limited-edition Air Jordan 4 designed just for children. The brand draws inspiration from the novel 'Where The Wild Things Are,' and embellishes the model with a few horrific features.
'Where the Wild Things Are' was adapted from a children's novel and initially aired in 2009. For those who are unfamiliar with the narrative, it revolves on a little kid named Max. Max has a vivid imagination, and after a quarrel with his mother, he flees the house. After some while, the child arrives on a monster-infested island. Max persuades the creatures that he possesses magical abilities, and therefore they regard him as their ruler.
The sneaker is made of beige leather and has a beige color scheme. The fleece collar and tongue are designed to resemble the fur of the monsters in the narrative. This makes the shoe perfect for the colder months.
The laces are accented with red, green, blue, and pink embellishments. Above the white midsoles is a dark brown motif that relates to the characters in the narrative. The color brown may also be found on the outsoles, heel tabs, and pull tabs. The Jumpman emblem is present on the heel and tongue to complete the look.
On November 5, 2021, the Air Jordan 4 'Where The Wild Things Are' will be released in Grade School, Pre-School, and Infants/Toddlers sizes.
