Did you think Patta szn was over? Reconsider your position! The Dutch store has teamed up with Nike for another customized Air Max 1, this time with the "Wave" design on the midsole.
This "Metallic Silver" sneaker is a follow-up to the "Monarch" colorway that released earlier this month, and it's a better match for the shoe. That *chef's kiss* delicate palate of Noise Aqua and Pure Platinum interspersed with off-white panels is perfection.
The AM1 is the "signature shoe of Amsterdam," according to Patta, which is an intriguing Dutch fashion detail I was unaware of. Isn't it about time the rest of the world caught up?
Patta has gone above and above to create a commemorative shoebox and silver charm bracelet that incorporates the Patta emblem, Nike Swoosh, and the Suriname flag to honor Patta's roots ("Patta" means shoe in Surinamese).
Patta's newest Air Max has a lot of fans. The response to Highsnobiety's recent Instagram post comparing the two joint colors was incredibly good, however most commentators were primarily interested in the "Metallic Silver" pair, which I don't blame them for.
Though the shoes will undoubtedly be the focus of attention — and only serve to highlight Nike's Air Max 1 silhouette's growing popularity — Patta will also release a complement of gear alongside the "Metallic Silver" kicks, including a new rendition of its distinctive tracksuit.
If nothing else, the apparel will be a decent replacement for anyone who missed the deal.
