The JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 "Navy" Gets Its Best Look Yet

There's no disputing that New Balance is at the forefront of sneaker culture right now. From the track to the streets, the Boston footwear company has been providing quality trainers to sneakerheads for a long time, with its renowned 99x series serving as a go-to for collaborations. Speaking of collaborators, it looks that Montreal-based label JJJJound has once again concocted an extremely desirable group. Read on as we take a closer look at the JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 "Navy," which follows the highly desired JJJJound New Balance 992s from 2020.

JJJJound will be taking on the fourth edition of the NB990, the 990v4, which debuted all the way back in 1982, as teased on the brand's Instagram. If you're wondering what the differences are between this edition and previous editions, other than the bigger profile N logos, there aren't many.

This JJJound New Balance 990v4 is carefully built with soft suede overlays and extremely breathable mesh accents below, keeping New Balance's concentration on high-quality materials. From heel to toe, deep blue and black tones flow through the panels, even covering the ENCAP sole tooling beneath. Co-branding features on the insoles, as well as potentially more elsewhere, round out the package.

If you're wanting to add this to your rotation, keep an eye out for it right here at The Sole Supplier, as the JJJJound x New Balance 990v4 "Navy" is definitely a grail for New Balance collectors.
