Billie Eilish's Fans Are More Excited Than Ever: New pictures show that the artist and Jordan Brand are working together. While a bright green Air Jordan 1 KO was leaked in June, a more modest Air Jordan 15 appears to be releasing alongside it.
Eilish has always been a fan of vintage Jordans, frequently donning Air Jordan 1s and complimenting Nike and Jordan Brand. With the exception of hypebeasts Travis Scott and Drake, Eilish is the music industry's most ardent supporter of the brands. She initially sparked speculations of a collaboration when she appeared on an episode of Complex's Sneaker Shopping in 2019. According to Highsnobiety, Jordan Brand VP of Footwear Gentry Humphrey has previously stated, "You see us doing stuff with individuals like Aleali May, you see us, going to be doing some things with folks like Billie Eilish."
We now got a glimpse at the two-shoe collaboration two years after the whispers started. The capsule's literal highlight — a luminous Air Jordan 1 KO — is clothed fully in Eilish's favorite hue, bright green.
The artist's stick-figure Blohsh emblem on the tongue is adorned with Nike's Swoosh and Jordan Brand's Jumpman, while additional cushioning, a debossed Jordan Wings logo, and lines of stitching on the sides give the shoe a quilted effect.
The sneaker's monochromatic color scheme appears similar to Don C's "Ghost Green" Jordan Legacy 312, which Eilish mentions as one of her favorite pairs in the aforementioned Complex episode. She also says in the video that she likes the Air Jordan 15s “more than any other shoe in the world,” despite the fact that many people dislike the model and Tinker Hatfield calls it his worst Air Jordan design.
While the AJ15 may not be popular with the general public, Eilish is definitely smitten enough to incorporate it in her Jordan Brand partnership. Her monochromatic design is clean and understated, highlighting the 15's structure with a tan tint. Eilish's Air Jordan 1 KO and Air Jordan 15 have yet to get an official release date, but fans believe they will arrive around September 30, just in time for the premiere of Eilish's documentary Happier Than Ever: A Love Letter to Los Angeles. A release would undoubtedly aid fans in comprehending the film's title.
