Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2 ‘Tricolour’ - A Retro Delight

This year, the Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2 looks to be having a comeback, and the newest colorway to join the party is this retro-inspired ‘Tricolor' design. The bright orange Pump buttons on the tongues provide a dash of contrast to the red, white, blue, and grey color scheme.

The news of this release follows the previous Juun.J collaboration, which featured three colorways, a pure white alternative, and the reintroduction of the colorway made famous by Dee Brown's famed "No Look" dunk from 1991. The Pump Omni Zone 2 was catapulted into the worldwide awareness as a result of that historic occasion, and now, 30 years later, the model is enjoying an encore performance.

This version differs from the original in a few ways, including as the slightly altered Pump logo on the famous basketball-shaped tongue inflator and the lack of Hexalite cushioning, which may feel strange to those who possess the 1991 model. Regardless, the overpowering sense of nostalgia, along with the sensation of the Pump bladder inflating to offer a personalized fit, should be enough to pique the interest of 90s fans.

Reebok and select retailers are scheduled to sell pairs of the Reebok Pump Omni Zone 2 ‘Tricolor' on October 1.
