Nike Brings Vintage Vibes With These Pre-Aged Dunk Low Soles

Nike has recently gone all out with their Dunk Low releases, and it doesn't appear that they will run out of ideas anytime soon. When it comes to partnerships and influences, the sky's the limit, but for one of their next colorways, they'll be going to the past for inspiration, as they've placed a pre-aged midsole underfoot.

The top part of the Dunk Low "Navy" boasts a clean navy and white color scheme painted on top of a smooth leather foundation, as shown below. The bottom half, on the other hand, has been yellowed to give it a vintage air, as if the sneaker has been there for decades and is just waiting to be worn.

Of course, this isn't the first time Beaverton has used this oxidation technique on the soles of its Dunks. If you recall, pairings like the "Reverse Curry" and the "Ultraman" all had this distinct appearance. This vintage style was also used in the most recent "Acid Wash" Pack.

The Nike Dunk Low "Navy" is expected to release shortly, along with a plethora of additional colorways, so stay tuned to us for more updates as they become available! Let us know what you think of this trend, and in related news, the Nike Dunk Low "Reverse Mesa Orange" features fall vibes!
