The adidas NMD S1 is the latest addition to adidas' NMD series of sneakers. The sneaker is a modernized version of the traditional NMD style that was initially seen on Pharrell Williams' foot. Thankfully, adidas hasn't kept us waiting any longer and has now published official photos of the revised silhouette.
The adidas NMD has a long and illustrious history
The adidas NMD R1 PK 'OG' was the first NMD model to be released in 2015. The model's original release had a black top with a heel trigger. The sneaker includes a black outsole and a white midsole. Two red and blue blocks can be found in the midsole.
adidas intended to blend PrimeKnit materials with their BOOST technology in this model. The silhouette was influenced by three separate shoe styles. The sneaker has components from the adidas Boston Super, Rising Star, and Micropacer.
The style eventually acquired a lot of traction, and the NMD became one of our favorites. Several pairs of the style have been released over the years, each with a unique colorway.

The new NMD has a primeknit upper, much like the original. The heel is black and the shoe is entirely white. The model's central lining is translucent, allowing you to see the brand's three stripes more clearly. The sneaker's laces are also white with blue flecks on them.
Furthermore, the model features a redesigned midsole that is somewhat taller than the NMD's original midsole. Three blocks that protrude from the midsole can be found. This helps to form the model. Branding may also be found on the midsole and one of the blocks.
The profile on the bottom of the outsole is, without a doubt, the most noticeable element on the colorway. Like the midsole, these are white and have tiny adidas emblems.
Unfortunately, there is no official release date for the adidas NMD S1, although it is expected in 2021.
