Nike, which is no stranger to commemorating special occasions, has released a limited-edition Air Max 90 to honor Latinx Heritage Month, dubbed the AM90 "LHM." Latinx refers to persons with a Latin American cultural or ethnic identity who live in the United States, and these shoes contain lots of allusions that make them a must-have for your rotation! They're also decorated with bright designs, so without further ado, let's take a closer look.
The uppers are constructed of sturdy canvas and leather sections and have wild patterns made up of a variety of colors, which are believed to be inspired by goalkeeper jerseys from the 1990s. Black mudguards contrast with the design, and Nike Swoosh emblems are, of course, there.
The word "familia" appears on the sneakers in several locations, emphasizing the strong family tie that exists in Latino culture. The Nike Air logo that would typically be seen on the tongues of an AM90 has been replaced with CLA branding, which stands for a fictional football team. This is all set against a white midsole with a visible Nike Air Max unit, and a speckled black and dusty blue outsole completes the design.
If you've already set your sights on the Nike Air Max 90 "LHM," the good news is that they'll be available on September 29th. Make sure to mark your calendars and check back here for all the latest release information as it becomes available.
