Shai Gilgeous-Alexander is a popular NBA player. On and off the court, the young Canadian is being watched as he enters his fourth season as a potential all-star for the Oklahoma City Thunder.
As the young, rising stars of the NBA compete for best dressed, their out-of-game appearances have become just as significant as their in-game performances. Shai is no exception, as his penchant for Off-White Nikes and a plethora of hyped Jordan 1s has earned him a following.
As a consequence, the young athlete has been selected by Converse to inject his flair into two of the brand's most famous designs. The "Chase The Drip" two-pack includes the Pro Leather Low and Chuck 70, which are both low and high-top options.
The Pro Leather Low is the first sneaker to use the immensely iconic UNC hue that has graced many a Nike model. The whole length of the shoe is light blue, with white contrasts at the laces and medial logo.
There's a lot more to the Chuck 70 than meets the eye. At first sight, this shoe appears to be your standard Converse, with a white upper and an off-white sole. The white denim, on the other hand, may be pulled away to expose a brilliant blue tie-dye pattern underneath.
