Materials:
While this isn't a "collaboration" sneaker, I was anticipating Jordan Brand would cover the shoe with a higher grade leather.
When it comes to the satin, I enjoy the appearance and feel of the ribbed material, and I don't believe it's much of a step down from the conventional satin used on prior satin models.
Construction:
Fortunately, the craftsmanship of these shoes was flawless in every way.
Although the leather wasn't fantastic, it was consistent on both shoes, and the stitching was neat throughout.
Fit:
Most people wear AJ1s true to size, but if you want a more snug fit, try a half-size down.
Cushioning:
There have been no significant adjustments to the Air Jordan 1's comfort. It's not the worst sneaker, but the midsole cushioning leaves a lot to be desired.
Having said that, the shoe becomes more comfortable with time as it begins to conform to your foot, but don't anticipate a significant increase in comfort.
Wearability:
A Chicago colorway of the classic Air Jordan 1 silhouette can never go wrong. This is without a doubt one of the greatest sneakers to match with a wide range of outfits and a must-have for any sneakerhead, sneaker collector, or even casual consumer. Furthermore, the satin on the rear heel gives a bit of texture that makes the shoe stand out.
