3 Million Bot Orders For The Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low Have Been Discovered

The Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low was published on Nike's SNKRS app and Travis Scott's web store earlier today. With launches of this scale, the chances of the average buyer manually purchasing sneakers are already small, but the odds get exponentially worse when sneaker bots take advantage of the launch and swiftly deplete the supply.

Last month, several Twitter users claimed to have submitted as many as 32,000 entries into the Travis Scott x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 High lottery on Scott's website using bots. Despite Scott's webmasters' claims that they were attempting to eradicate the bot orders, they were utilized in large numbers again today.

At 3:00 p.m. EST, the Travis x Fragment x Jordan 1 Low raffle went live on shop.travisscott.com, allowing fans a limited time to enter their information for a chance to win the sneaker. The lottery ended soon after, the shoes were sold out, and the majority of us grumbled—it was the typical scenario.

In addition, at least 3 million bot entries were discovered and filtered away, according to a statement published in the Cactus Jack discord channel, putting the shoes on the feet of more Travis fans. It's unclear how good the shop's bot-defeating procedure is in general, but being able to identify that many fake entries are surely a step in the right direction.

The Travis x Fragment x Air Jordan 1 Low, which retails for $150, is already fetching $1,600 on platforms like StockX.
