Attention: the Adidas Originals LEGO Superstar sneakers will be available for purchase tomorrow, which is fantastic news if you're looking for a LEGO shoe that you can really wear.
Of
course, you may try on 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar – no one will stop you
– but we doubt it would be a pleasant experience. The subdued Adidas Originals
LEGO Superstar shoes, on the other hand, appear to be pure comfort and are
arguably the most modest design to emerge out of the whole partnership between
the LEGO Group and Adidas.
Originally
scheduled to go on sale on July 1, they will now go on sale at Adidas tomorrow,
July 30, at 9 a.m. BST and midnight PDT. Those are two distinct timings, so
make sure you're on the correct version of the site at the appropriate moment
to get your hands on the kicks.
The
Adidas Original LEGO Superstar shoes will cost £110 in the UK and $140 in the
US, and you will receive both the left and right sneakers with your purchase
(unlike 10282 Adidas Originals Superstar, which includes elements for either
foot, but crucially only one at a time).
The
UK site indicates that the sneaker is only available online and in-store,
although neither page specifies how much stock will be available. Given the
countdown to debut, it's safe to anticipate that they'll be quite restricted
